With a degree in Fashion Design & Product Development, I've spent my life blending creativity, craftsmanship, and practical skills into everything I do. My hands on learning has led me to work extensively with youth -- including students with Down Syndrome and those on the spectrum -- through teaching art, and fostering confidence through creative expression.
Beyond the arts, I have 15 years of experience playing various musical instruments and 10 years as a freelance Graphic & Web Designer, bringing visual storytelling to life. My love of traditional crafts runs deep, thanks to a lifetime of "Grandma Skills" passed down from my Mother and Bochie (Grandmother). Sewing, knitting, crochet, upholstery, cooking and more have been integral parts of my life, keeping these time-honored skills alive.
My expertise extends beyond design into permaculture and landscape design, where I've cultivated sustainable and functional outdoor spaces. With 8 years in animal husbandry and small-scale farming, I've gained a deep appreciation for self-sufficiency, natural cycles, and responsible stewardship of the land. For the past 5 years, I've been homeschooling, embracing an educational philosophy that fosters curiosity, independence, and real-world learning for my own kids.
I believe in hands-on education, creative problem-solving, and practical skills that empower individuals to thrive in both modern and traditional ways. Whether through the arts, sustainable living, or education, my goal is to inspire and equip others with the tools to explore, create, and build meaningful lives.
Outside of what Meghan can offer from years of hands on training and expertise, our other teaching staff are professionals in their respective industries that can tackle learning in subjects not familiar to Meghan. These instructors are brought in for learning sessions so that we may offer an even wider range of extracurricular activities and learning by experts, for the best and widest offering of experiences when it comes to extracurricular learning!
